School timing during Winter Session:

Play way to LKG - 9:00 AM to 01:15 PM
UKG to Class X - 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM

School Timings during Summer Session:

Play way to LKG - 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM
UKG to Class X - 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Examination Guideline and Schedule

1. The school has evolved an examination system and promotion rules which are consistent with the concept of evaluation developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Central Board of Secondary Education according to the framework of New Education Policy 2020.
2. A record of the student’s assessment in an Academic session is divided in three main examinations- Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual to be held in August, December and March respectively. Promotion is based on the day to day work of the students throughout the year and also on the performance in the terminal exams. Duplicate grade sheet will be issued on payment of 50/- for the current session and for any of the previous sessions 100/- will be charged.
Note for Classes Nursery to Class III :
1. In order to qualify for promotion, candidates must obtain 33% of maximum marks in all the subjects under scholastic areas as per scheme of studies.
2. The Non Scholastic Areas would be assessed in absolute marks at first which will he hence converted into grades in the grade sheet
Note for Classes IV to X:
1. The scholastic area will consist of 70 marks final exam and 30 marks internal assessment.
2. Student has to secure 33% marks out of 70 marks in each subject.
3. In Internal assessment student has to secure 33% marks out of 30 marks in each subject.
4. Internal assessment will include:
(a) Periodic Test (15 marks)
(b) Note book submission (5 marks)
(c) Subject Enrichment activity (10 marks)
5. The school will conduct Weekly Written Tests for every subjects in the entire academic year and the average of the all tests will be taken for 15 marks of Periodic internal assessment.
6. In the Annual exam 100% syllabus will be there.

The house system provides a good platform for the holistic development of students. It forms the basis of all competitions in the school and promotes team spirit, group loyalty and healthy competition. The school is divided into six houses after the names of the rivers i.e. Chenab, Ganga, Yamuna, Jhelum, Ravi & Satluj. Students compete for the Inter-house competitions, demonstrating their talents and skills, bringing Laurels to their respective houses.

Code of Conduct

•Students should be neat and tidy in their school uniform and for all functions.
•Each student should carry the Almanac to School everyday with his photograph and complete details.
•The school building and property must be respected. Any damages done to the school property will be realized from the student responsible.
•Celebration of birthdays in the school canteen is not allowed.
•Scribbling on walls and boards is a punishable offence.
